Services for community organisations

We provide an educational programme of interactive workshops, seminars and other learning opportunities to build awareness and understanding of mental illness and distress, as well as specifically developed training courses. Synagogues, youth groups or any Jewish community can also benefit from our outreach sessions, where we come to you instead.

Here are just a few examples of what we can offer:

Mental Health First Aid
Jami is an accredited provider of adult and youth Mental Health First Aid courses – the gold standard in equipping individuals with a ‘first aid response’ to help people in distress.

Sessions on trauma and suicide
Our one-hour Emergency Response Initiative Consortium (ERIC) briefings help schools put in place the recommendations of the ERIC guide, Coping After Suicide or Sudden Traumatic Death: A Guide for Schools and understand the impact of trauma on our school communities

Youth wellbeing training
This introductory course explores the interplay between mental health and wellbeing in a Jewish-youth setting with a focus on the camp environment, providing tips and suggestions for age-appropriate activities to raise awareness and combat stigma about mental health illness
