Our partners

Join us to increase mental health knowledge and understanding to enable community members to respond appropriately to those with mental illness or distress. Explore how to create a more skilled and compassionate community, able to listen effectively and respond sensitively. We’ll acknowledge the impact Covid-19 has had on our communal and individual mental health while gaining new skills to support ourselves and others.

We all have different life experiences that are often a balance of professional and personal. But do you feel increasingly drained emotionally or physically? Or find yourself looking for quick fixes for perhaps more energy or motivation to get through the day? Join us to learn more about burnout, how to identify it in ourselves and others, and how to prioritise our needs and make self-care front and centre in our lives.

Supporting another happens when people make a connection that feels equal, mutual, and safe. It happens when ordinary people share a sense of “you get me”. Being a peer means listening without judgement and empowering each other to get the most from life. Join us to find out more about this way of giving and receiving mental health support in our lives and our communities.

Jami provides a range of accredited Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) courses including the one-day and two-day version of both youth and adult courses. MHFA courses are great opportunities for learning and development. They give your community or organisation the opportunity to explore diagnoses of certain mental illnesses and the ability to identify and support someone in crisis. This training is CPD accredited and internationally recognised. Each participant will receive a certificate, a workbook and a reference manual.

Those participating in a 2 day Adult course will have access to the MHFA App and further CPD opportunities via MHFA England.

Since Covid-19 there has been an increase in concern around young people’s mental health in our community. If you are a parent, teacher or youth worker and want to learn more about a variety of mental health problems and increase your confidence in supporting young people, then this is the course for you. This training is CPD accredited and internationally recognised. Each participant will receive a certificate, a workbook and a reference manual.
