For the second year in a row Jami supported Mental Health Awareness Week by running a campaign at their Head Room Café in Golders Green where they asked the question ‘How can we improve our mental health?’ and discussed themes supporting this.
The third week of May was dedicated to a Mental Health Awareness Week across the world.
Jami’s mission was to simply spread awareness with an engaging campaign run from their Head Room Café in Golders Green.
Jami encouraged the public to start a conversation about mental health and contribute their thoughts. Jami placed a big interactive board in front the café and asked passers by “How can we improve our mental health?”.
People were slow to engage at first, but by midday the board had started filling up with different notes and messages from the general public.
People of different ages, backgrounds and nationalities came out to share their views and raise awareness of mental health.
With so many contributions to the board it was clear to see certain thoughts echoed time and time again.
Strong themes included how important it is to take care of our mental health, looking out for others and finding time to talk about mental health.
By the end of the week the board was fully covered and shared some interesting ideas and thoughts.
