Elliott Simmons
Centre for Wellbeing

The philosophy of Elliott Simmons Centre for Wellbeing is about identifying individual need and empowering service users to steer their personal journeys to recovery.

To this end, Elliott Simmons Centre for Wellbeing has developed a progressive programme of recovery-orientated groups, discussions and activities, which help service users regain control over their lives. Service users are encouraged and supported to facilitate groups and offer peer support. It is becoming increasingly evident that such partnerships further recovery. Onsite discussion group and activities include Reading for Pleasure, Wellness & Recovery, Recovery Star Group, Yoga, Art, Craft, Ask the Rabbi, Poetry and others.

Onsite groups, discussions and activities are available.

Initiatives in the Community

Group outings and Trips

Jami House frequently arrange trips and outings. Recent times have been a trip to Tring, a canal boat trip and a picnic in Regents Park.

Starbucks Initiative (London, Embankment)

These inspiring off site gatherings are open to Jami members who meet informally to build social networks, increase confidence and relieve isolation. Increasing in popularity, the sessions take place on a monthly basis.
